Poetry!

So as some of you may not know, I used to write poetry A LOT. Almost every day in high school I wrote some poems. I will post some of them here for you guys, and hopefully you like them :)


Disaster
Your sweet ballooning head, swelling
too fast

nobody can see it, not even you
dear - 
except my poor forgotten eyes. 


The weeds take root 
in your wasting desolate heart
scratching and clawing through 
every
person
you hold dear. 


Your sweet exterior rotting
you've become painfully human,
dirty and weak

My body is a prison

In honor of anti-bullying day I have taken this picture. A lot of people see their body as a prison, every day, every moment of their lives. They count it all off, every insult and mean comment they receive. Everyone has been bullied or has bullied someone else. The first step to a better tomorrow is to stop the mean, cruel words today.

Well hello beautiful

I guess this can be my "personal" blog? The updates on my not-so-exciting-but-still-kind-of-interesting life? I guess so! I've always loved documenting my life; I have a binder full of diary entries from sophomore year of high school to prove it. I've been looking up journalism articles lately, and even wrote down a few notes! Bah, who needs college when you have everything you need on the internet? All you have to do is search a specific thing you want to learn. I don't mean typing "Journalism" and hoping you get detailed sections of course plans on the subject. Type in something way more specific, like "How a journalist gathers information". That's what I did, and boy I was glad I found what I did. :D

So since my last post in December, I've progressed. I turned 21 in April, and got a savings check my parents had set up for me. 7k. I didn't get a car, unfortunately. I don't think I'd be able to pay the insurance with my current pay at work. It lasted me a good 4 months though! I got two new laptops, phones for me and the bf, a new camera lens, and a puppy! Her name is Stella and she is the mos adorable pain in my ass ever.

She has terrible anxiety and shits in her cage while yapping nonstop when I'm away at work, but otherwise she is the most loveable fluff ball ever and I love her to death! 

I'm a cashier as well as a UC at work now. So I manage a lot more. I know a few of my coworkers are a bit jealous, but... ah well. It's not like I stole it from them. I saw a flyer in the break room saying "Ask if you'd like to move up!" And I did. Boom. It's that simple kids, get with the program. 

Other than that, nothing new! Still not in college, still no car, and unfortunately, not babysitting anymore, but it's ok, raising a puppy is pretty much like raising a baby with four legs and alot more hair. I'm content with life right now. :D

Oh! And I'm opening a new blog for more informational and opinionated posts, and it might include a few videos from yours truly, plus alot more photos! So stay tuned!
